ACU Homecoming Weekend...

Ashley called a couple of times to update us on the fun she was having. They had parades, a carnival, facepainting, (that's a purple paw print on her face)purple cotton candy, a homecoming queen from Bakersfield, CA, and a great football game!

ACU Football is 6-0. I guess this is something new for them in recent years. Ashley is enjoying all the fun of being a football fan supporting her school...it's especially fun to support a winning team.

We miss her...duh! But what a blessing to see so much goodness, learning, and enjoyment come her way. Thank you, God.

Go Wildcats!!! Purple & White...

Last season we only won two games, I think. Not a pretty picture- especially with these CRAZY Texans! Thursday we play West Texas A&M- everyone think happy thoughts!

Love you mama!

Glad to know that Ashley is studying and making such good grades.

We had a National Championship Football team when I went there. Great fun.

Oh, Uncle Steve...you're still trying to get over the envy of her getting to study Bible at the feet of Mike Cope and Randy Harris...among many others. ;) She said she's saving some of her notes for you to look over when she comes home.

I didn't think about the "Harris / Cope" aspect of Ashley's ACU experience. Please share some of the notes our way.
